Things are looking up !

Here is what you can buy for£675.00 if you happen to be in the right place at the right time. This is the sort of thing i had been looking for to get me to work and general stand in for the Harley's. Go on E-Bay and look for a sensible priced bike , yeah right everything is a classic, people live in a crazy world . I saw a cj 360 going for over £2000.00 , i had one in the late 80's and it was shit then hey and guess what they are still shit just very expensive shit like the sort of dump the Queen would do!
Anyway picked this GS up in the friday ad priced at £750.00 , it was local and turned out to be owned by a friend of my brother, for a 29 year old bike it is great condition and the speedo reads very low mileage , you never know if this is true but it certainaly looks and sounds low. So i have removed the indicators, screen and i would like to fit lower bars but other than that i must leave it alone, thankgod that poxy BMW died.

So last saturday i bought a new bike , in my defense i was still feeling ill from a stinking cold which i still have. You are looking at £325.00 of shit , it managed to do 16 miles then monday morning i left for work did about 100 yards and then it died. I hit the starter and it turned over and pumped out a very large cloud of smoke which totally swamped me. Pushed the 007 crapmobile home and Tracey lent me the car. Still on the plus side i returned the bike to previous owner in the works lorry and got a full refund, oh boy was i lucky.

slim pickings at the moment , not much going on just work oh and having a really crappy cold. looking at getting a sensible ride to work bike, watching a k75 and an mtz 250 although maybe an mz is not that sensible. just do not seem to be any cheap bikes anymore all the 70's early 80's are now so called classics and i'm not interested in 90's sports bikes.
